The Camels Are Coming

It's amazing how time goes by us so quickly.
Already 2016 and God is doing amazing things! I must share what God is showing me.
On Sunday, Feb. 28th, 2016 in the afternoon I was cleaning out our garage. I noticed some of my mother's art books laying on the porch and on the ground in the garage. I thought to myself, I should take them inside and look at them. I laid them on the kitchen table and I then went to get cleaned up to go attend my prayer group that was meeting at my friends house.
After I got cleaned up I knew I needed to prepare a snack to take along. I pulled out a Hoagie /Sub from the refrigerator and started to cut it up into smaller pieces. I placed the sub into one of my bread baskets and laid it up on the table. I than walked over and grabbed one of my moms doodle pads from her art books and sat down to draw a picture that the Lord put on my heart. As time went by it was time for me to leave for my prayer group. I went to go and grab the basket of food and I saw this note in the basket. I honestly was stunned because I didn't know HOW this note got into my basket. I picked up the note and it read the following:
(" Thinking about the message "The Camels are Coming," I wanted to keep the message moving...... Isaiah. 60:1-22 They will show for the praises of the Lord. Be blessed in the name of Jesus as we cross the bridge of the past into the Blessings of the future. It's time......Put all into God's hands! NOW!!! )
I was taken by this message/note. How did it get there? And this was written by my mother who is presently in Florida. I was SHOCKED as I never heard of this meaning... "The camels are coming." I then re-read it again and was hearing God speak to me. This wasn't just for our family but for the church of today and our family and friends! I hurried to look up the meaning before our prayer time and I read that the camels are known for bringing provision and blessings to people in bible times. I shared with my group at prayer that God is at work and blessings are on their way for them. I told them to read Isaiah 60 because this is deeper than what I know! So this week I have also been studying the term...
"The Camel's are Coming"
God is giving us a mandate to Rise and Shine! First because the darkness has covered the earth, second, because the glory of the Lord has risen upon us. The glory of the Lord on us is a powerful thing that takes place.
To be effective in carrying God's glory we must do these things: First, a commitment to the living the word; secondly, doing the works, and thirdly, fighting the war. We must establish what we need to do in order to arise and shine. Isaiah 60 is a prophetic word! This makes reference to a multitude of camels covering the land and the wealth of nations coming to the people of God. I believe God is revealing this to me that our camels are coming. Our blessings are on it's way. And the answer to yours and my prayers are already moving towards us. The harvest for the seeds that we have sown over the years is already on the way to us. We all have sown in tears; now it is time to reap in joy! We also have waited so long for the promises of God over our lives. Now the wait is over, help is on it's way!
It's so exciting! Now we must know... Sometimes, it seems that God is not moving fast enough for us. But we must understand that God is not bound or controlled by time like we are. God dwells outside the realm of time and inhabits eternity. Time does NOT control him, HE controls time. God is so good! He is never too early or too late. Not one of our prayer's or the seeds that we have planted will go in vain! God's word does NOT go void! God is a God who remembers! He remembered Noah, Abraham, he remembered the children of Israel and he will remember us! See we may not be able to see it but something is changing. God is already moving on our behalf. Yours and our camels are coming. We must stand our ground and wait patiently. Oh yes,, I said it.. wait patiently. But as we do, the promises will come! Ephesians 6 says. "having done all to stand, stand!" We must pay attention to God and not to the circumstances in front of us! God is a God of restoration and he is bringing restoration. Things that we may have felt we lost and was taken from us will be coming back to us. When you see your blessing coming to you, you will be so excited like a child at Christmas! The Joy that will overflow on you!
Sit back and read vs. 6 ... How awesome to read about this passage! It says The multitude of camels' covering the land and the areas of Midian, Ephah, and Sheba covering and bringing gold, and incense. This is saying a HUGE amount of camels are coming and that is saying that God's blessings will cover us all like an overflowing of waters! Friends, this is a prophetic word that God sent through Isaiah to the children of Israel following their captivity. This was a word that was sent to them whose lives had been torn apart by their enemies. Their homes had been destroyed; their possessions gone, everything that was precious to them had been destroyed. But in the midst of this, God begins to speak of restoration. Even this seems so sad... we must realize that when God restores, He never restores with just what was lost; He always restores with something much better. I sit and think of times in my life that were robbed from us and from our family. My parents house caught on fire and it was one HUGE lost, but God restored us!
I truly believe this promise.. this prophetic message for the people of Israel is also for us. The Lord wants to restore everything that the devil tried to take from us or has taken from us.
Now, as for the camels... in the bible the camels were used to transport supplies, provision for people. They are able to travel across the dry desert land. They could handle the tough terrain and weather conditions. The people waited for them like the ships of the sea to bring new supplies and gifts for them. The people were thrilled when their provision arrived.
God brings us an abundance in the midst of our dry time or difficulties that we have endured. We must remember, that for every promise of God, he expects us to play our part. Mark 10:45 says: For even the Son of man did not come to be served but to serve and to give His life a ransom for many. To serve and to give: God is looking for people who have the heart to serve and a heart to give. In order to prepare to receive our camels, we must serve and we must give. See God is calling us to serve; He is calling us to give. We are to arise and shine and God is testing the hearts of his people and He is proving those who are willing and obedient. Galatians 6:7 says, "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, then he will also reap.
We need to remember something, the blessings that the camels bring are not to gratify ourselves with but are meant to be instruments in our hand for us to advance the Kingdom of God. So only those who are faithful servants and faithful givers will qualify to receive the camels. God is saying.. prepare your heart, this is an unusual season, and God is demanding an unusual response. Our Camels are coming! One more thought... As camels are used for transportation as it is also spoken in the bible in Genesis 24 and 37... We must know that where ever your camels take you just trust in the plans of God. He has a good plan for a hope and a future for you. Embrace the camels.
